Playing guitar about the age of six or seven, my greatest influencers and mentors are all watching my musical journey from Heavens fields of grace.
My Dad, always said, Wayne learn to use your own voice when you sing, don't be an imatator. He taught me how to play guitar.
My Mom, well she always said she couldn't sing, but she gave me the confidence, and encouragement to succeed in whatever I was doing.
My Grandmother taught me about stage presentation. My Grandmother loved to play and sing in church as often as we could.
Playing those church hymns from the days of ole.
Now growing up, being an only child I learned to play many other instruments, sing, and write songs. Most of my major influences were from Country music artist that my Dad and I loved and he taught me to play and sing. Such as Johnny Cash, Ernest Tubb Chet Atkins, Kitty Wells, Loretta Lynn, Tanya Tucker, Hank Williams Sr., Waylon Jennings, and so many others,
Life was sheltered for me growing up, no cable tv, no record players, no tape recorders. Most of the music I ever heard was live from my church, my Dad, Grandma, or whatever the 1 country music radio station decided to play on the top 40 charts, oh yeah, and HeeHaw.
Then came high school, where I started listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, FogHat, Charlie Daniels and Zz top.
So I guess.when you listen to my sound, I'm putting it all out there.
Or you might agree with my Dad,
He often accused me of playing my guitar a little to rough to be country, somehow Id turn those gospel, and country western songs into a mixture of southern rock meets country western.
Hahaha, See You Soon.

I hope that my music moves you in some type of way. Music speaks to the soul, it can have an effect on your life, how you feel, how you react, how you think, on your mood, music has been known to even have healing powers, spiritually, yes spiritually, physically, and mentally. Music affects us all, the sound carries us from our childhood onto our last day upon this earth. Ever how long the journey.
The music that your parents, your guardians, babysitters introduced you to as a child, the music that your peers introduced you to, your church, school, work, the music that your cousins introduced you too as you were growing up, and beyond.
Music can take us from a peaceful calm tranquility, to a dance, can alter the way we think toward each other, can cause us to fall in and out of love. Music can spiritually awaken us to the God of Man or the Darkness of Hell.
Take notice to what and whom you listen to. Notice the sounds, the tiempo, the lyrics. Make wise decisions of the fruit you feed your soul.
Music is indefinitly the twisted exorbitant magaphonics to your soul.
